Chief of AI Officer

We’re in search of a visionary Chief AI Officer (CAIO) with a strong research background to lead the transformation into an AI-first company. This role requires both scientific excellence and the ability to operationalize AI across all business domains.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the company-wide AI transformation roadmap

• Identify high-impact research and industrial problems in Fintech AI, and launch new AI initiatives

• Build alignment with the management team, translate AI strategy into prioritized action plans, and collaborate closely with the CTO to ensure technical and organizational execution

• Lead and mentor AI Lab / AI Service / AI Platform functions

• Establish AI ethics, compliance, and governance frameworks aligned with fintech regulations.

  
  

Preferred qualification

• Ph.D. in a relevant field with strong research credentials

• Prior experience leading AI organizations with multi-disciplinary teams (research, data science, ML engineering, platform)

• Experience in large scale data and large scale ML/LLM project

• Core contributor to team that has trained a large language model from scratch

• Patents or impactful applied research in industry

• Publications in AI domain/Fintech Applications of AI as an first author

• Domain experience in Fintech AI (Credit Risk, Fraud Detection, Underwriting Decisioning, etc)

• Winner of ML competition
