R&D Team Lead

Hybrid working model, 3-4 days at the office.

SaaS startup is looking for an R&D Team Lead to join our expanding team.
The R&D Team Leader will need to combine great management skills along with mature and advanced technological understanding, in order to succeed in this position.
The responsibilities
● Take the position of leading the technology division at XXX
● Report directly to the CEO, working closely with Product and QA teams
● Lead a team of 10 developers (8 of them outsourced) Technological Knowledge
● 5+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, high-traffic online web applications – Required.
● Strong knowledge of architectural principles, coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
● Node.js: at least 5 years of experience as a main programming language (knowledge of Express.js, npm, high-concurrency systems, ES6, performance tuning).
● SQL: 5+ years of experience with SQL querying and ingestion of large data
● Front-end: 3 years of experience with client-side (HTML, Javascript, CSS) - Knowledge of REACT is an advantage.
● AWS: Advantage – experience in managing an AWS production environment (Lambda, ECS, EC2, API gateway, CloudFront, AWS roles, Firehose, S3).
● Linux OS: managing Linux-based environments.
